The Folk Art Gallery features artifacts of folk origin which display great artistic or historic value made in Poland and abroad. Some of the items on display were made after 1950 but due to their artistic merit, we made an exception and included them. On display, you can find a roadside shrine hung on a birch tree, paper cutouts, numerous wood engravings (including sorrowful Jesus as well as pagan themes), large collection of Easter eggs, Kraków crèches, turoń used during Christmas time (see our blog post on caroling in Poland) and many more.
